Gnanaselva Raj, known as Ghana, started his foray into the corporate world as a Calibration Engineer with Seagate before he stepped into the world of Personal Mastery. Today, he is not only an experiential trainer of 13 years but he is also a certified coach accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) from Newfield Network, U.S.A. His list of accreditations also includes being a certified trainer with the Malaysian Government Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
In addition to the years of experience that he has designing programmes and training trainers, what makes Ghana unique is his training as an ontological coach. This coaching methodology is based on a deeply grounded practical understanding of language, moods and conversations for behavioural and cultural transformation. As a coach, he helps clients navigate the uncertain, disruptive and ambiguous nature of daily life.
He is passionate about helping people learn and equipping them with skills to teach others. He combines a practical facilitating style with a broad range of training experience, allied to his personal enthusiasm and sense of humour, to present dynamic and informative programmes that audiences find easy to relate to. Through his extremely participative and interactive programmes, he leads people to develop confidence through the advancement of self-awareness, positive attitudes and communication techniques resulting in their personal growth.
As a performance coach, he has worked with the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) under the Tourism Ministry and British American Tobacco (BAT). He has also coached trainers-to- be for corporations such as LaFarge Cement Malaysia, Profound Learning Solutions, Train-The-Trainer Public Programme, as well as conducted programmes for the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Finance.
