Training Designer, Trainer, Ontological Coach
Gnanaselva Raj known as Ghana graduated in Information Technology (a twinning program with University of Oxford, UK) from Informatics College, Malaysia, in 1992. He started off his career with Seagate, a Multinational Company in the Calibration Department as a Calibration Engineer, before he stepped into the world of Personal Mastery. He has 16 years experience in conducting Experiential Learning trainings.
He combines a practical facilitating style with a broad range of training experience, allied to his personal enthusiasm and sense of humour, to present dynamic and informative programs that participating audiences find easy to relate to. Through his extremely participative and interactive programmes he leads people to develop confidence through advancement of self-awareness, positive attitudes, leadership, communication techniques and resulting in their personal growth.
Ghana was serving KMB Educational Sdn. Bhd. since 2006 till 2014 as a Head of Training Department and a Coach. Here he played a vital and pivotal role in writing, developing and training the modules for the Malaysian National Service training program under the Ministry of Defence for the Government of Malaysia, including the design and delivery of the training of trainer components. He was also an active member in the National Service Program Transformation Process,which was run by the Ministry of Defence with Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU).
He is passionate about helping people in learning and giving people the skills to teach others. He has vast experience in training over 25,000 participants. He has also trained over 1000 facilitators, over 500 master trainers and developed and coach through Trainer in Training program.
He also makes time to train juveniles namely the inmates of Henry Gurney School which is run by the Prison Department of Malaysia.
He has also honed his coaching skills in performance coaching for Mesiniaga, Malaysian Reinsurance Berhad, Malaysia Convention, AIA Group and Exhibition Bureau(MyCEB) under Tourism Ministry, British American Tobacco, besides that he is also involved in coaching trainers-to-be for corporations such as LaFarge Cement Malaysia and for Institute of Business Excellence – University Technology Mara, Works Ministry of Malaysia and Ministry of Finance with Train-The-Trainer Program. He also did some programs for Affin Hwang Capital Investment Bank, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and Hotel Eastin.
He obtained his diploma in ontological coaching from Newfield Network, USA. It is an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited Coaching Training Program which now enables him to pursue the ICF second level certification, as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). He is also a certified trainer with the Malaysian Government Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF). Also a member of Malaysian Association of Facilitators (MAFa).
