Performance Coaching

A 3-month programme that turns awareness into results

This performance coaching programme is structured to solve a perpetual problem in the training industry: too many theories and not enough results.

In this 3-month programme, participants get the best of both worlds : experiential training that imparts learnings in a highly interactive way, combined with group coaching that guides them to overcome obstacles and achieve tangible results.

This 3-month structure can be customised to deliver results in various areas:

  • Sales & Business Results
  • Team Integration
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Employer Branding
  • Leadership and High Performance
  • Innovative Thinking & Problem Solving
  • Management Trainee Orientation

In addition to seeing tangible results, the group of participants will come together as a tight team. They’ll learn to give mutual support and feedback to each other, and experience a new way of working together which will continue to unite them beyond the duration of the programme.

Why is this programme so effective?
  • It takes 3 months to develop new habits and break old ones.
  • The company sets the parameters, and the participants set their own goals so there is a high level of ownership.
  • Big goals are broken down into actionable steps.
  • Public accountability : The presence of a buddy or support group is a factor for successful habit formation.
  • Participants are motivated when they see what they can achieve.
  • The empowerment is sustained.
  • “The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
  • Opportunity for the individual to reset every fortnight, and restart with a clear focus is possible with a coach who is neutral and committed to the individual achieving his or her goals.

The Corporate Communications department at MDeC had a combination of new and long-serving staff who came from diverse backgrounds. This programme created a unified team who is aligned to the VP of Marketing’s standard of professionalism.

“In 2012, I engaged 95% to help me create a ‘culture’ change programme for my division, Corporate Communications & Marketing at the Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC).There had been a merger of two divisions and multiple restructurings over the years. This had led to a somewhat unmotivated team who were not synergized and coming together as a unit.

The programme was a huge triumph. A group of people who were at best skeptical to start with managed to be swayed and by the end of the programme were starting to come together as a team. Within the first month, we were able to see huge gains in productivity, morale and focus. What was once a lethargic and fragmented group of individuals were coming together in lock-step.”

When TBWA\Kuala Lumpur went through a change in management, they wanted to emphasise their ‘Disruption’ philosophy by establishing a ‘Pirate University’. After running two batches in 2012 and 2013, the agency shot to the number one spot in creative ranking and started to attract fresh graduates who came for the job interview dressed as pirates.

In 2013, TBWA became the #1 agency in Malaysia. This was due to the strong and unified culture that had blossomed over the previous two years. Helping to fuel that culture was the Pirate University, a unique life skills programme we developed with the help of 95%.

The outcome of this was that the agency as a whole became more unified, both in spirit and our passion to succeed. My sincere thanks to 95% for helping us bring the programme to life by devising a training framework that was not only engaging but completely befitting our agency’s desired culture. I would also like to commend your team for all the effort and dedication in managing the activities devised, truly a job well done.”
